WHAT IS THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?

The Millbrae Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesses organized to insure a vital local economy and to enhance the quality of life through business promotion, economic development, and advocacy on business issues. Simply put, we are the organization that cares about our local economy -- and is the one that does something about it.

WHO BELONGS TO THE CHAMBER?

Our members include retailers, restaurants, hotels, professionals, service businesses, property owners, civic organizations, and concerned members of our community. The common thread among our members is that they care about business -- specifically business in Millbrae.

WHY JOIN THE CHAMBER?

We are dedicated to promoting Millbrae as an excellent place to do business. Not only do we sponsor a wide variety of business and community event, but we also act as your advocate and representative with local, regional, and state government. By becoming one of our members, your business or organization can take advantage of the promotional, educational, and networking opportunities that we provide.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

Promotion. Every day the Chamber receives calls from customers looking for referrals. We also get over 2,000 visitors each month to our website. The Chamber only gives referrals and online listings to members. The Chamber also has highly effective online and print advertising opportunities for members – listings in the upcoming Millbrae Guide are free to members.
Assistance. The Chamber is a valuable resource for local businesses – whether it is networking opportunities, advertising, seminars, or discounted services, we can help you grow your business and operate it more efficiently.
Representation. The Chamber represents the interests of business to government by speaking out on local, regional, and state issues impacting our business community and local economy.
Community. The Chamber is the primary sponsor of many community events including the Art & Wine Festival, Farmer’s Market, Business of the Year, State of the City, and the Student Ambassador program. By joining the Chamber, your business becomes associated with each of these special events.
Networking. Get to know the other members and City staff at the Business After Five mixers, Good Morning Millbrae seminars, Business Expo tradeshows, and other networking events.

MEMBER TO MEMBER DISCOUNT PROGRAM

Another benefit of membership in the Chamber is the ability to participate in the Member-To-Member discount program. Members can offer other members special promotions on their goods and services. Members simply present their membership card to the participating business and receive the discount.

Once your application is received, the Chamber staff will contact you regarding directory listings and other membership benefits.
